The Good Vibes Book Club: Where Every Dog Is Well-Read-ish 📚🐾

Some dogs chase balls. Some dogs collect stuffies. Some dogs apparently have very strong opinions about literature.

Welcome to Book Club at Good Vibes Dogtography.

This set started with a simple idea: create something cozy, quirky and completely dog-centered. A giant wall of books, a ridiculously cute little reading chair, warm details and, naturally, dogs who have absolutely no intention of actually reading any of them.

Basically, my kind of book club.

A Set Made for Personality

One of my favorite things about photographing dogs is that I never really know exactly what they’re going to give me.

One dog walks in ready to pose like they’ve been waiting their entire life for their author photo.

Another immediately finds the toy.

Another decides the chair is clearly their personal throne.

And honestly? That’s the good stuff.

I don’t need dogs to sit perfectly still and stare at the camera for every photo. I want the head tilts, goofy tongues, curious faces, tiny side-eyes and all those expressions that make you say, “Yep. That’s my dog.”

Book Club gave us plenty of those.

No Perfect Behavior Required

The studio isn’t a place where your dog has to come in knowing exactly what to do.

They get time to sniff. They can investigate the set. We use treats, toys, noises and approximately 47 different methods of getting that one spectacular head tilt.

Some dogs need a little more time. Some are ready to party the second they walk through the door.

Both are welcome here.

That’s one of the reasons I love creating these little themed worlds. The backdrop may be the same, but the dog standing in front of it makes every single session completely different.

For the Dogs Who’d Rather Eat Their Homework

Book Club may look sophisticated, but we know the truth.

Our members are probably more interested in snacks than Shakespeare.

And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Because around here, we’re not trying to turn your dog into something they’re not. We’re creating photographs filled with the personality you already love.

Good dogs. Wild dogs. Shy dogs. Silly dogs. Senior dogs. Dogs who would absolutely get kicked out of an actual library.

They’re my kind of readers. 📖🐶
