No perfect behavior required
Your dog is my specialty.
Your dog does not need to be “good at photos.”
They can be shy. Reactive. Overexcited. Distracted. Senior. A puppy with approximately three functioning brain cells.
My job isn’t just knowing how to use a camera — it’s knowing how to work with dogs.
Sessions are built around your dog’s comfort level, personality and pace. We use treats, toys, breaks, ridiculous noises and a whole lot of patience to get the expressions you actually recognize as them.
Sessions are available in my Mesa dog photography studio or outdoors throughout the Phoenix area, depending on the look you want and what works best for your dog.
And yes, humans are absolutely welcome in the photos — as long as there’s a dog in them. After all, Good Vibes is dog photography. They’re still the star of the show.

Hi, I’m Kim!
I’m an Arizona dog photographer, lifelong dog lover, rescue advocate and the human behind Good Vibes Dogtography.
With 20+ years behind a camera and years of hands-on experience with shelter and rescue dogs, I bring both photography experience and an understanding of dog behavior into every session.
My work has been recognized by Phoenix Magazine’s Best of the Valley, but my favorite compliment will always be, “I didn’t think my dog could do this.”
Because they can.
